If you are going to be starting at UNR as a journalism student this fall (August 2009), this PDF document describes options for the video camcorders we are asking all new journalism students to purchase.3. When do classes start and end?

4. What classes are being offered this fall?
Copies of the printed class schedules can be found here. You can also search the online database. If you select Fall 2009 and type "JOUR" as the "prefix" you will get a list of all courses offered in the journalism school during fall semester.
5. I need help composing a resume and cover letter. Where do I start?
The university Career Development Center has a number of helpful tutorials on writing resumes and cover letters, evaluating potential careers and looking for jobs: http://www.unr.edu/cn/cdev.aspx
