Our role as the leading “other voice” at the University of Nevada, Reno, aims to dig deep into Nevada issues and report news in the most “accurate,” “fair-sided” and “objective” way and indeed, we believe we have succeeded far beyond our expectations.

The Burning Sagebrush has uncovered long-overdue answers to those questions plaguing Nevadans. Do you know when KatRENO will strike? Who are Reno’s St. Patty’s enthusiasts, cowboys and gays? Are rainbows graffiti and if so, do you not like rainbows, or what? Most importantly, why are those people waiting hours on end outside the John Ascuaga’s Nugget?
