Hola from Chile, where we’re planning to watch the returns on Chilean television, while watching updates on The Daily Show’s Web site (por supuesto!) and checking the RSJ site as well. Students studying in Santiago, Chile, who are also registered voters in Washoe County, did not all get their absentee ballots early enough to return by mail. After a few calls to the Washoe County Registrar of Voters and the U.S. Embassy in Chile, we’ve managed to fax in absentee ballots and write-in ballots.

It’s already 7:30 p.m. here (only 2:30 in Reno) but we’re going to have some dinner and settle in for a long evening of returns.

At that time, I had the wireless internet connection and operated the location election website. Too much tiring work.

Got something to say?
