What I've Learned

Policy and process is the backbone of administration.

Don’t do anything without checking with the powers that be.

Training is an ongoing process. So is keeping the peace.

A university, with tensions between administration and faculty, can be a little like the Gaza Strip.

Biography

Why I'm here:

I adore working with the students. They have their challenges but they bring vitality into the office. They have the sense that anything is possible, that if we can think of it, it can be done.

I assist the dean and academic chair in all administrative functions. I schedule and maintain the RSJ building, coordinate special events, hire and train new employees and juggle stacks of paper without dropping a single form.
