Biography
Anjeanette Coles Damon has been a journalist since 1998, covering police, Reno city hall, the Legislature and statewide politics in Nevada. She is currently the political reporter for the Reno Gazette-Journal. Her award-winning coverage of Nevada politics has included the Nevada Legislature, the 2008 presidential caucuses and general election and Gov. Jim Gibbons' administration. She's covered the Nevada Legislature since 2003. Before that she worked the police beat for four years and the Reno city hall beat for two years. She has her degree in journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno and a master's in public administration with a focus on political journalism from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. This is her first time teaching.
