Biography
Ryan Jerz spends a lot of his time in the production realm. He is currently the Interactive Media Manager for the Nevada Commission on tourism, and get to travel the state taking pictures and shooting video to put on the official
State of Nevada Tourism website. Prior to that he received his master's degree from the
University of Nevada, Reno in Interactive
Environmental Journalism, where he used the skills he learned during his five years as a director, producer, shooter, and editor at KNPB in Reno to collaborate on video projects and produce an award-winning website,
OurTahoe.org. Least importantly, he has has had a hand in building several local websites that seek to put local news into the hands of the public, and he has been a prolific blogger and podcaster for over seven years.
