The Public Relations Assistant will work with the Administrator for the Department of Family-School Partnerships and other department staff to develop an internal campaign on family engagement for schools. The Assistant will interview principals, parents and other staff members to create short stories for an internal monthly district e-newsletter. Each year we conduct a national school tour where we visit 60+ schools across the United States. Each school is challenged to ‘Change The World in 15 Days’. We are seeking an individual that has a core understanding of video production, programs (adobe premiere), and how to use a DSLR. You will be responsible for help producing a monthly ‘Kindness News’ Youtube Show that will be promoted online.
