Nominate Your Favorite Professor For The Semenza Award

Every year the students of the Reynolds School nominate a professor who went above and beyond for them during the school year. It’s the student’s opportunity to recognize outstanding, life changing teaching and give credit where it’s due.

The nomination period is open until April 25.

This award is named after Nevada Semenza Christian, one of the first and only female graduates of the journalism school’s class in 1924. She lived and worked in China and moved 38 time sin her life. She died in 1990 and remains one of the Reynolds School’s most distinguished graduates. The award was established in her honor in 2001 and is funded annually by Nevada’s sister, Evelyn English.
