In this Reynolds School of Journalism First Amendment Forum, two renowned legal experts will discuss the state of American press freedom today and consider its broader historical and legal context. Are we truly in unprecedented times? The forum will feature Lucy Dalglish, media lawyer and Dean of the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland, and Trevor Timm, Executive Director of the Freedom of the Press Foundation. Reynolds School Assistant Professor of Media Law Patrick File will moderate the conversation and audience Q&A.
