Amidst an affordable housing crisis, Reno residents are setting up tents by the river or sleeping in hidden spots in the area.  Where do the homeless youth go when safe places like the Eddy House close?

Displaced youth will share their stories related to the affordable housing crisis in person and through audio and video stories during “Where Will We Sleep Tonight?” on Sept. 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Eddy House.

This Our Town Reno Live event will be the first of three, allowing those impacted to share their perspective of living without stable housing. The event-based reporting is funded by an Air Media #LocaloreLive grant awarded to Reynolds School of Journalism professors Kari Barber and Nico Colombant in partnership with KUNR.

The event is open to the public and will include an hour-long presentation followed by an open question and answer period.

Those unable to attend in person can view the event through Facebook Live on The Eddy House’s Facebook page.
